date − print the date

USAGE

date [ −u ]

DESCRIPTION

Without arguments, date prints the current date and time.  Use the −u option to display the date in GMT (universal) time. 

CAUTIONS

The current version of date does not allow you to set the system date and time interactively.  Your node must be shut down and the DOMAIN calendar stand-alone utility run in order to make the change.  Refer to the DOMAIN Command Reference for information on this.
