NAME
     rc - boot time shell script

USAGE
     [cps] /etc/run_rc

DESCRIPTION
     The script /sys/node_data/etc.rc initializes the /tmp and
     /usr/tmp directories and optinally starts the cron(1) dae-
     mon.  The run_rc command runs the script with a uid of
     "root," and will be invoked at node startup time if you
     include the following line in your DM startup file.

         cps /etc/run_rc

NOTE
     The /etc/rc file is a variant link, which resolves to
     `node_data/etc.rc.
