LOGIN                               Aegis                                LOGIN

NAME
     login - logging in to a local or remote node

DESCRIPTION
     There are two different types of login operations that you may perform.
     The first is logging in to a local node: a Display Manager operation.
     This is what you do when your node displays the "login: " prompt in the
     DM input window.

     For information on how to log in to a local node, type:

     $ help l

     Once you are logged in to a local node, you may further log in to a
     particular process (running in some window), presumably with a different
     user identity. This is a shell operation, and requires the use of the
     login protected subsystem.

     For information on how to log in to a window, type:

     $ help login window
