mkslipuser(1M) mkslipuser(1M)NAME mkslipuser - creates or updates the Compressed Serial Line/Internet Protocol (CSL/IP) database SYNOPSIS mkslipuser DESCRIPTION mkslipuser uses the file /etc/slip.config to create or update the file /etc/slip.user, which is the CSL/IP user database. The database records the current number of CSL/IP users on the system and the number of available CSL/IP interfaces. You should run mkslipuser on the CSL/IP server only. Before you run the mkslipuser command, edit the file /etc/slip.config. In general, /etc/slip.config contains one or more lines, each of which consists of the network address of the CSL/IP server. See slip.config(4) for details. The /etc/slip.user file is a binary file. Use the dslipuser command to display its contents. Only the user who is logged in as root has permission to create or update slip.config and to run mkskipuser.
