NAME
     fastboot, fasthalt - reboot/halt the system without checking
     the disks

SYNOPSIS
     fastboot [ boot-options ]

     fasthalt [ halt-options ]

DESCRIPTION
     fastboot and fasthalt are shell scripts that invoke reboot
     and halt with the proper arguments.

     When the system reboots, it will ONLY invoke fsck for the
     root partition.  The remaining disk partitions will not be
     checked.
