DESCRIPTION
The IE (Integral) Ethernet controller provides host access to Ethernet/802.3 networks. The IE controller resides on the ISE (Integral SCSI/Ethernet) daughterboard.
After initialization, the Ethernet network may be accessed via TCP/IP protocol software as documented in socket(2) or raw Ethernet I/O software as documented in ethernet(7). The interface is typically initialized by ifconfig(1M) at boot time from rc(1M).
