NAME
     named.debug - turns on debugging of named(1M)

DESCRIPTION
     This command sends a SIGUSR1 to the running name server causing it to
     protocol information about each request to /var/tmp/nameddump.db.
     Each call of named.debug will increment the level of information, up
     to level 11.

NOTES
     Does not check to see if the name server is actually running, and
     could use a stale PID cache file which may have strange results on an
     unrelated process.
