  checkeq(1) CLIX checkeq(1)

  NAME

checkeq - Checks files for correct eqn coding

  SYNOPSIS

    checkeq [ file ] ...

  DESCRIPTION

The checkeq program reports missing or unbalanced eqn delimiters and
.EQ/.EN pairs in one or more files. If no files are specified, the
    program reads from standard input.

In files coded for use with the eqn program, a line beginning with .EQ
marks the start of an equation; a line beginning with .EN marks the end of
that equation. It is also possible to set two characters as delimiters to
take the place of the .EQ/.EN pair so that text between the delimiters is
    also treated as eqn input.

  NOTES

The eqn program is delivered with Intergraph's DWB product (SS01117),
which contains AT&T's UNIX System V Documenter's Workbench software.
