  NAME

    creat_term - Creates a vterm window through an interactive menu

  SYNOPSIS

    creat_term [catfile]

  FLAGS

    catfile   Specifies a terminal characteristics file to be placed in the
              catalog menu of the creat_term menu.

  DESCRIPTION

    The creat_term command provides an interactive menu interface for creating
    a virtual terminal window with the vterm command.

    The creat_term menu can be called by selecting the Terminal option from
    the Screen Manager pulldown menu.  A virtual terminal, or vterm window, is
    created when the user selects initial attributes in the Terminal menu and
    then selects the OK button.  The vterm command executes with the options
    and arguments specified in the menu.

  FILES

    $HOME/.ctconfig   This file, which resides in the user's home directory,
                      will have written to it a copy of all settings made in
                      the creat_term menu.  These settings will be used as the
                      initial menu settings for the next creat_term session.
