  NAME

    inqiop - Determines the type of I/O processor (IOP) on a system

  SYNOPSIS

    inqiop

  DESCRIPTION

    The inqiop utility determines the type of I/O processor (80186, 80386, or
    CLIPPER) that is running in the system.

  DIAGNOSTICS

    Unknown IOP type
           The inqiop command encountered an IOP that it did not recognize, or
           inqiop failed to obtain the IOP type.



  EXIT VALUES

    The inqiop command exits with one of the following values, based upon the
    type of IOP in the system:

           0   Intel 80186

           1   Intel 80386

           2   Intergraph CLIPPER Any other exit value indicates either an
               error obtaining the IOP type or an unknown IOP.
