  NAME

    jbchkvol - Checks a jukebox volume

  SYNOPSIS

    /usr/bin/jbchkvol volume_name

  DESCRIPTION

    The jbchkvol command is used to check if a volume inside the jukebox has
    the label volume_name, given by the user.  The command returns with the
    appropriate message.

  EXAMPLES

    To check if vol_a is labeled, key in the following command:

    jbchkvol vol_a


  DIAGNOSTICS

    Appropriate error messages indicating the presence or absence of a
    specified volume are provided.  The following is a list of common error
    messages and their meanings:

    JBM and/or jbinterface is not running
           The application program cannot start because it finds that JBM is
           not running.

    cannot open jukebox device
           This error message is self-explanatory.

    volume vol_name is not in the jukebox
           This error message is self-explanatory.

  EXIT VALUES

    The jbchkvol command exits with a value of 0 if successful.  If
    unsuccessful, it exits with a nonzero value.
