  NAME

mdir - Displays an MS-DOS directory

  SYNOPSIS

    mdir [-w] msdosdirectory

    mdir [-w] msdosfile [msdosfiles...]

  FLAGS

-w Specifies wide output. This flag prints the file names across the
page without displaying the file size or creation date.

  DESCRIPTION

The mdir command displays the contents of an MS-DOS formatted disk.
Subdirectories are supported with either the slash (/) or '\' separator.
The use of the '\' separator or wildcards will require the names to be
enclosed in quotes to protect them from the shell.

  NOTES

An error occurs if a component of the path is not a directory.

The environmental variable MCWD may be used to establish a current working
directory (relative to the MS-DOS disk).

The mdir command allows multiple arguments, which does not follow the MS-
    DOS convention.

Wildcards are only applied to filenames, not to directory names.

The environmental variable FLOPPY may be used to establish a default
floppy drive other than the device currently linked to /dev/rdsk/fl.
Valid choices include /dev/rdsk/floppy to designate a 5.25-inch drive, or
    /dev/rdsk/ufloppy to designate a 3.5-inch drive.
