  NAME

ucpnice - Runs a process at a user-controlled priority (UCP)

  SYNOPSIS

    ucpnice priority [-d] command [argument ... ]

    ucpnice priority [-d] -p pid

  FLAGS

-d Prevents child processes from inheriting the UCP of the parent
         process.

-p Changes the currently running process represented by process ID pid
         to the specified UCP priority.

  DESCRIPTION

The ucpnice command executes command at the UCP specified by priority.

The ucpnice command fails if the priority is not in the range 0-127, or if
the specified process ID does not exist. If priority is 128, the
previously set UCP for the command represented by process ID pid is
    cleared.

By default, additional processes that may be forked from command or the
process represented by pid inherit the UCP of the parent process.

  NOTES

Only the superuser can execute this command.

  EXIT VALUES

The ucpnice command returns the exit status of the subject command.
