bgpattern(4) CLIX bgpattern(4)
NAME
bgpattern - Background pattern definition file
DESCRIPTION
The /usr/ip32/smgr/bgpattern file is an ASCII file that specifies the
pattern to be displayed in the user-configurable entry in the Configure
Background Pattern menu of the Screen Manager (smgr).
The user-configurable entry is the lower right-hand entry in the menu. By
default, this file provides a collection of background patterns. Only the
first pattern in the file is recognized by smgr and is displayed in the
user-configurable entry. Any other patterns in the file must be moved to
the top of the file to be displayed in the user-configurable entry.
A pattern is defined by 32 lines of ASCII characters, with each line
containing 32 characters. A space (0x20) or a zero (0x30) specifies a
``pixel-off.'' Any other character specifies a ``pixel-on.''
