  NAME

    defer.tab - Message transfer agent (MTA) deferral authorization table file

  DESCRIPTION

    The MTA /usr/lib/mhs/defer.tab file grants authorization for X.400 message
    deferral.  The deferral authorization table file resembles the MTA
    neighbor table file and contains two or three columns per row as shown in
    the following:

    COUNTRY  ADMD_NAME  PRMD_NAME

    The PRMD_NAME (Private Management Domain) parameter is optional.  Deferral
    authorization is given by management domain.  Any message originating from
    a PRMD or ADMD (Administrative Management Domain), irrespective of the
    number of nodes in that domain, is authorized by an entry in the table.
    If REMOTE deferred delivery is being used in a local PRMD environment, the
    local PRMD name must also appear in the table.

  EXAMPLE

    In the following example, an ampersand (&) indicates the country, a
    percent sign (%) indicates the ADMD, and an at sign (@) indicates the
    PRMD.
