  NAME

    ftpusers - File resticting ftp access to a machine

  DESCRIPTION

    The /etc/ftpusers file is used to limit ftp access to a machine.  Attempts
    by a remote user to access the local system using one of the usernames
    listed in the /etc/ftpusers file will be refused.

  EXAMPLES

    The following is a sample /etc/ftpusers file.  If any of these usernames
    are used when attempting to make an ftp connection to the local machine on
    which this file resides, the connection will be refused.

    root
    baduser
    uucp
