  NAME

    md.tab - ISO/OSI message transfer agent (MTA) routing table file

  DESCRIPTION

    This file contains routing information for the ISO/OSI X.400 Message
    Handling Service (MHS).  The MTA routing table is built by the md message
    handling service (MHS) directory compiler program.  Once built, the MTA
    uses the routing table file for all its routing decisions.  When the file
    is updated, the MTA rereads it at the next earliest instance.
