mtaconfig.dat(4)

  neighbor.dat(4) CLIX neighbor.dat(4)

  NAME

neighbor.dat - ISO/OSI message transfer agent (MTA) neighbor table file

  DESCRIPTION

This file describes neighboring MTA's for the ISO/OSI X.400 Message
Handling Service (MHS). The MTA neighbor table file describes adjacent
MTAs. The file consists of one line for each neighbor MTA. Each line
defines the adjacent MTA number, the names of the country, Administrative
Management Domain (ADMD), Private Management Domain (PRMD), and MTA.

  EXAMPLES

The following is a sample neighbor.dat file:

    5 US ATT INTERGRAPH1 INGR
    7 US ATT INTERGRAPH2 HSV

The ADMD and PRMD names are optional. To omit either of these fields, use
underscores as shown in the following example:

    5 US _ INTERGRAPH1 INGR
    7 US _ _ HSV

Given this information, the MTA can include in each message the neighbors
to which the MTA tried to relay that message, but failed. The adjacent
MTA numbers must correspond to those in the routing table and the reliable
    transfer server (RTS) directories.

  FILES

    /usr/lib/mhs/neighbor.dat Default filename.
