  NAME

    xnlf - Non-linear filter

  DESCRIPTION

    The Non-Linear Filter (NLF) performs a non-linear filter operation on the
    data flowing through the raster processing pipeline.  The NLF board in the
    lowest Shared Resource (SR) Bus slot number supports channel 0, the next
    NLF board supports channel 1, and so on.

    The xnlf file allows a process to directly access the control registers
    for a specified NLF board.  All filter parameters are established using
    the mapped registers following a successful nlfopen().
