  NAME

    ffsdf - Reports free disk blocks and inodes on unmounted fast file system

  SYNOPSIS

    /etc/ffsdf [-lt] [-f] special

  FLAGS

    -l   Limits ffsdf to local file systems

    -t   Reports only the free list count

    -f   Includes the total allocations

  DESCRIPTION

    The ffsdf command reports file system statistics on unmounted Fast File
    System (FFS) special devices by examining counts kept in the superblocks.

  FILES

    /dev/dsk/*

  NOTES

    The ffsdf command is a special case of the df command and is normally
    executed by df.  The df command is preferred to ffsdf for examining file
    systems.

  DIAGNOSTICS

    device is mounted
           The fast-file system named was mounted.

    device not a block or character device
           The named file was not a device.

    device - cannot read superblock
           The file system type is wrong or the superblock is corrupted.
