NAME
rfstop - Stops the Remote File Sharing environment
SYNOPSIS
rfstop
DESCRIPTION
The rfstop command disconnects a host from the Remote File Sharing (RFS)
environment until another rfstart is executed.
When executed on the domain name server, the domain name server
responsibility is moved to a secondary name server as designated in the
rfmaster file. If there is no designated secondary name server, rfstop
will issue a warning message, RFS will be stopped, and name service will
no longer be available to the domain.
This command is restricted to use by the superuser.
EXAMPLES
The following command stops RFS on the current system:
rfstop
FILES

primary and secondary domain name servers.
DIAGNOSTICS
An error message will be sent to stderr but RFS will not be stopped if:
⊕ There are resources currently advertised by this host
⊕ Resources from this machine are still remotely mounted by other hosts
⊕ There are still remotely mounted resources in the local file system
tree
⊕ The rfstart command had not previously been executed or
⊕ The command is not run with superuser privileges.
