SYNOPSIS

tty

DESCRIPTION

Tty prints the pathname of the user’s terminal. 

EXAMPLE

tty

produces "/dev/tty7" if user is on tty7. 

DIAGNOSTICS

"Not a tty" if the standard input file is not a terminal.
