NAME
     stdhosts - convert addresses in /etc/hosts file to standard
     form

SYNOPSIS
     /usr/etc/yp/stdhosts [ file ]

DESCRIPTION
     The program stdhosts converts an internet address in the
     /etc/hosts file into an ASCII string representing the
     address in dot(.) notation using the format of
     inet_ntoa(3n).  The stdhosts program is normally run only on
     the master YP (Yellow Pages) server by the Makefile in
     /usr/etc/yp/ as part of running the command make hosts.

     The name of the file containing addresses to be processed
     may be given as an argument or obtained from stdin.
