MDI_GetActiveMedia()
Store the active media type for PhyAddr
Synopsis:
int MDI_GetActiveMedia ( mdi_t * mdi,
int PhyAddr,
int *Media)
Arguments:
- mdi
- A pointer to the mdi_t structure obtained from MDI_Register() or MDI_Register_Extended().
- phyAddr
- The physical address of the physical layer device (PHY).
- Media
- A pointer to the media-type specified.
Possible media types are:
- MDI_10bT -- 10 Base T, half-duplex
- MDI_10bTFD -- 10 Base T, full-duplex
- MDI_100bT -- 100 Base T, half-duplex
- MDI_100bTFD -- 100 Base T, full-duplex
- MDI_1000bT -- 1000 Base T, half-duplex
- MDI_1000bTFD -- 1000 Base T, full-duplex.
Description:
The MDI_GetActiveMedia() function stores the curently active media-type for the PHY that the media address specifies.
Returns:
- MDI_BADPARAM
- PhyAddr is out of range.
- MDI_LINK_DOWN
- No valid link was detected.
- MDI_LINK_UP
- A valid link was detected, and the link-media type was stored at the address pointed to by media.
