    showsnf - print contents of an SNF file


 Syntax

    showsnf [-v] [-g] [-m] [-M] [-l] [-L] [-ppadding] [-upadding]


 Description

    showsnf displays the contents of font files in the Server Natural Format
    produced by bdftosnf.  Use showsnf to verify that a font file is not cor-
    rupted or to convert the individual glyphs into arrays of characters for
    proofreading or for conversion to other formats.


 Options


    -v         prints character bearings and sizes

    -g         prints character glyph bitmaps

    -m         indicates that the bit order of the font is MSBFirst (most
               significant bit first)

    -l         indicates that the bit order of the font is LSBFirst (least
               significant bit first).  The bit order of Xsco server fonts is
               LSBFirst.

    -M         indicates that the byte order of the font is MSBFirst (most
               significant byte first).  The byte order of Xsco server fonts
               is MSBFirst.

    -L         indicates that the byte order of the font is LSBFirst (least
               significant byte first)

    -p padding specifies the glyph padding of the font (padding is a number)

    -u padding specifies the scanline unit of the font (padding is a number).

    You cannot print only a single glyph.
