NAME
eoreadlabel - Displays labels for erasable optical media
SYNOPSIS
/usr/bin/eoreadlabel special
DESCRIPTION
The eoreadlabel command displays labels for erasable optical media.
The special name should be the physical disk section for the entire disk
(such as /dev/rdsk/s3u0p0.0). The device cannot be on a remote machine.
The volume name used to identify the cartridge or platter to the users and

when a file system on the cartridge or platter is mounted, whether it is
in a jukebox or a standalone drive. A volume name can have 1 to 16
characters. These characters may come from the set of all character
values excluding colon ( : ), null ( \0 ), and slash ( / ).
