  NAME

    ca_deconfig - Deactivates the cache file system

  SYNOPSIS

    /bin/ca_deconfig

  DESCRIPTION

    The ca_deconfig command deactivates the cache file system (CAFS).  All
    subordinate file systems must be umounted before running the ca_deconfig
    command.  During normal shutdown, or if /bin/ca_deconfig is issued, cache
    daemons are killed, and all cache-dedicated memory is released.  The
    ca_deconfig command umounts the cache root, if needed.

  EXAMPLES

    To deactivate the cache file system, key in the following ca_deconfig
    command:

    ca_deconfig


  NOTES

    The ca_deconfig command requires superuser privileges.

  EXIT VALUES

    The ca_deconfig command exits with a value of 0 if successful.  If
    unsuccessful, it exits with a nonzero value.
