  NAME

    jbpurge - Exports media with improper labels from a jukebox

  SYNOPSIS

    /usr/bin/jbpurge jukebox_id

  DESCRIPTION

    The jbpurge command exports a cartridge with improper labels from a
    jukebox.  The cartridge with improper labels is made inaccessible by the
    jukebox software.  Use the jbpurge command to clean the jukebox of all
    such cartridges.  The jukebox_id parameter is the ID of the jukebox on
    which this operation is to be performed.

  EXAMPLES

    The jbpurge command cleans the jukebox of all improperly labeled media.
    To export all cartridges with improper labels from the jukebox with the ID
    JB01, key in the following command:

    jbpurge JB01


  FILES

    /usr/ip32/jbm/JBCFG   Optical disk jukebox configuration file.

  NOTES

    The jbpurge command requires superuser privileges.

    The cartridge ejects through the mail slot, and removed by the operator.

  DIAGNOSTICS

    Error messages are issued in the event of a failure of jbpurge.  The
    following includes the most common error message:

    JBM and/or jbinterface is not running
           The application program cannot start because it finds that JBM is
           not running.

  EXIT VALUES

    The jbpurge command exits with a value of 0 if successful.  If
    unsuccessful, it exits with a nonzero value.
