  NAME

    jbrmlck - Removes a lock being held on a reserved file

  SYNOPSIS

    /usr/bin/jbrmlck

  DESCRIPTION

    The jbrmlck command removes a lock from a reserved file after a system
    crash.  When a system crashes and then reboots, Jukebox Manager (JBM) may
    not be initiated because a lock is being held on a reserved file.  Under
    these circumstances, the following error message appears:

    Lock is currently held

    If this message appears, jbrmlck can be used to remove the lock.  JBM can
    be initiated with the jbstart command or the /etc/init.d/jbm start
    command.

  EXAMPLES

    The jbrmlck command removes the lock from the reserved file so that JBM
    can be initiated.  To remove a lock from a reserved file, key in the
    following:

    jbrmlck


  NOTES

    The jbrmlck command requires superuser privileges.

  CAUTIONS

    Never use jbrmlck while JBM is running.  Using jbrmlck under any
    circumstances other than the one described above causes serious errors and
    corruption to the database.

  DIAGNOSTICS

    A message describing the completion status of the command is displayed.

  EXIT VALUES

    The jbrmlck command exits with a value of 0 if successful.  If
    unsuccessful, it exits with a nonzero value.
