NAME
odfsfsstat - Reports the file system status
SYNOPSIS
/etc/odfsfsstat special [special]
DESCRIPTION
The odfsfsstat command reports the status of the file system specified by
the special device, which must be of the type optical disk file system
(ODFS). The odfsfsstat command can be called from the fsstat command.
During startup, if the ODFS file system is specified in the /etc/fstab
file, this command determines if the file system needs to be checked
before it is mounted.
EXAMPLES
To check if the ODFS on the device /dev/dsk/ods3u0 is in the correct
status, key in the following command:
odfsfsstat /dev/dsk/ods3u0
NOTES
The odfsfsstat command requires superuser privileges.
DAGNOSTICS
The following is a list of common error messages and their meanings:
odfsfsstat: Bad magic in boot block
The specified device either does not have the ODFS file system or
has the boot block damaged.
odfsfsstat: device mounted
The specified device is mounted and cannot be checked.
EXIT VALUES
The odfsfsstat command exits with a value of 0 if successful. If
unsuccessful, it exits with a nonzero value.
