NAME
strclean - Runs STREAMS error logger cleanup
SYNOPSIS
strclean [-d logdir] [-a age]
FLAGS
-a age Cleans up files older than age days old.
-d logdir Cleans up the files in directory logdir.
DESCRIPTION
The strclean command is used to clean up the STREAMS error logger
directory on a regular basis (for example, by using cron). By default,
all files with names matching error.* in /usr/adm/streams that have not
been modified in the last 3 days are removed. A directory other than
/usr/adm/streams can be specified using the -d flag. The maximum age in
days for a log file can be changed using the -a flag.
EXAMPLES
The following example has the same effect as running strclean with no
arguments:
strclean -d /usr/adm/streams -a 3
FILES
/usr/adm/streams/error.*
NOTES
The strclean command is typically run from cron on a daily or weekly
basis.
DIAGNOSTICS
unable to unlink
Is displayed if strclean is unable to remove a file.
EXIT VALUES
The strclean command exits with a value greater than 0 if it encounters a
problem.
