NAME
uucheck - Checks the uucp directories and permissions file
SYNOPSIS
/usr/lib/uucp/uucheck [-v] [-xdebug_level]
FLAGS
-v Gives a detailed explanation of how the uucp programs will interpret
the Permissions file.
-x Used for debugging. The debug_level flag is a single digit in the
range 1-9; the higher the value, the greater the detail.
DESCRIPTION
The uucheck command checks for the presence of the system files and
directories required by uucp. Within the uucp makefile, uucheck is
executed before the installation takes place. In addition the uucheck
command checks for some obvious errors in the Permissions file
(/usr/lib/uucp/Permissions).
Note that uucheck can only be used by the superuser or uucp.
EXAMPLES
To give a detailed explanation of how the uucp program will interpret the
Permissions file, enter the following:
uucheck -v

/usr/lib/uucp/Devices

CAUTIONS
The program does not check file/directory modes or some errors in the
Permissions file such as duplicate login or machine name.
EXIT VALUES
The uucheck command exits with a value of 0 if successful and a value of 1
or more if an error occurs.
