  NAME

mrd - Removes an MS-DOS subdirectory

  SYNOPSIS

    mrd msdosdirectory

  DESCRIPTION

The mrd command removes a directory from an MS-DOS formatted disk. Sub
directories are supported with either the slash (/) or '\' separator. The
use of the '\' separator will require the directory name to be enclosed in
quotes to protect it from the shell.

  NOTES

An error occurs if the directory is not empty.

    Wildcards are not supported.

The environmental variable MCWD may be used to establish a current working
directory (relative to the MS-DOS disk).

The environmental variable FLOPPY may be used to establish a default
floppy drive other than the device currently linked to /dev/rdsk/fl.
Valid choices include /dev/rdsk/floppy to designate a 5.25-inch drive, or
    /dev/rdsk/ufloppy to designate a 3.5-inch drive.
