  NAME

jblabel - Introduces an unlabeled optical disk cartridge to a jukebox and
    labels it

  SYNOPSIS

    /usr/bin/jblabel [-F] volume1 volume2 jukebox_id

  FLAGS

-F Forces the specified label to be written on a Read/Write volume,
and ignores whatever the current label area contains.

  DESCRIPTION

The jblabel command functions like the jbimport command except that
jblabel assumes that the cartridge is unlabeled. Also, the jblabel
command initializes each volume, using volume1 and volume2 as volume
names. The volumes are entered in the Jukebox Manager (JBM) database and
    are ready for use.

The jukebox_id parameter is the logical jukebox name specified in the JBM
configuration file. This name is reported by the jbconfig command.

  EXAMPLES

    1. To load an unlabeled optical disk cartridge to jukebox JB01 and label
one side vol_a and the other side vol_b, key in the following command:

        jblabel vol_a vol_b JB01

    2. To relabel a Read/Write volume, key in the following command:

        jblabel -r vol_c vol_d JB01

  NOTES

The jblabel command requires superuser privileges.

  DIAGNOSTICS

Error messages will be issued in the event of an unsuccessful completion
of the command. The following list includes some of the more common error
    messages:

JBM and/or jbinterface is not running
The application program cannot start because it finds that JBM
               is not running.
